Technical Manager

Job Purpose:

EBS Technical Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing technical aspects of Oracle E-Business Suite projects. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions to meet business requirements within the Oracle EBS framework. The Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead a team of developers in the design and implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

System Design and Development:

• Design and develop technical solutions within the Oracle EBS framework.
• Customize and extend Oracle EBS applications to meet business requirements.

Integration and Customization:

• Implement and maintain interfaces between Oracle EBS and other systems.
• Develop customizations to enhance system functionality.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle EBS applications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions developed.
• Ensure that code and configurations adhere to best practices.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure reliability and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.

Project Delivery Timeliness:

• Percentage of projects delivered on time according to established timelines.

Issue Resolution Time:

• Average time taken to identify and resolve technical issues or bugs within the Oracle E-Business Suite.

Code Quality:

• Number of high-quality code reviews conducted to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Performance Optimization:

• Percentage improvement in the performance of Oracle EBS applications based on optimization efforts.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

• Successful implementation of training programs for team members and end-users to enhance their understanding of Oracle EBS.

• Ability to proactively identify potential issues or bottlenecks before they impact project timelines or system performance.
