Technical Manager (AI)

About Us

Elevation AI is looking for a seasoned Technical Manager to lead and scale our Solutions team: the team responsible for building AI-powered applications and agents for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

This is a hybrid role that requires both technical depth and people leadership: you will be hands-on enough to architect and review agent-based systems, while simultaneously managing a growing team, driving delivery, recruiting top talent, and ensuring engineering excellence.

You will be the connective tissue between Elevation AI's engineering ambitions and its client commitments, setting standards, building a high-performance team, and leading from the front in one of the most exciting areas of applied AI.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of AI/solutions engineers while driving a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
• Own architecture decisions across multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and production deployments.
• Drive delivery for internal and client-facing AI agent projects.
• Establish engineering standards observability, reusability, modularity as first principles.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, translating engineering into business outcomes.
• Partner with product, client success, and leadership to shape what gets built and how.
• Maintain hands-on fluency on the team's tech stack, including contributions to architecture, code reviews, and design decisions.

What We're Looking For

• 610 years in software engineering with significant depth in AI/ML and agent-based systems.
• Track record of leading or managing engineering teams through growth and delivery.
• Hands-on with orchestration frameworks LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Strong Python proficiency and modern dev workflows (GitHub, CI/CD).
• Deep working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity for your team.

• Applied work with multi-agent systems or autonomous frameworks.
• Open-source contributions in the agentic AI ecosystem.
• Knowledge of safe AI practices alignment, hallucination control, red-teaming.
