Job Description

Technical Leader - IAM

Pune, India

IAM Engineering Technical Leader leads a team of Architects, Engineers and Business Analysts to provide complex solutions within IAM Domain. You will manage Rockwell's Enterprise and Customer Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, ensuring security and compliance across on-premises and cloud environments. This senior role requires technical depth in IAM technologies, strategic leadership, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to align IAM systems with our needs and evolving regulatory requirements. Main responsibilities include, automating identity lifecycles, and driving the use of best practices for robust security and user experience.

You will be reporting to DIRECTOR, IDENTITY AND ACCESS Management.

We are open to hire - Pune, Bangalore, Noida location.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementing, and optimising secure access controls which include API Security, Identity Governance, SSO, MFA and Password less Solutions
  • Provide technical direction, lead architectural discussions, and make important decisions on the design and implementation of IAM solutions.
  • Ensure IAM systems follow relevant security and regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including SAE, security, and DevSecOps, to ensure IAM strategies align with organisational goals.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or related field or equivalent relevant years of experience

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires minimum 15+ years of management experience
  • Experience with M&A and related IAM technology systems
  • Experience with IAM and API security technology systems such as EntraID, Sailpoint IIQ, CyberArk PAM, Hashicorp, SALT, Mulesoft Marketplace, Crowdstrike Identity module.
  • Experience with Identity Federation
  • Experience with IAM and API security for Agentic AI and other automation security.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS cloud IAM systems
  • Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex SaaS solutions
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and systems engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modelling, benchmarking and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of architectural design frameworks, integration frameworks and patterns
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and changing our requirements
  • Experience with business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Work with multiple partners and influence project decisions
  • Experience in systems development lifecycle
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
