Technical Lead-BI

Area(s) of responsibility

•    Lead end-to-end MSBI solution design and delivery across SSIS/SSRS/SSAS (as applicable), ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. 
•    Own data warehouse / dimensional modelling activities (facts, dimensions, semantic layer) and guide the team on best practices. 
•    Drive ETL architecture and implementation including standards for package design, error handling, logging, scheduling, and deployments. 
•    Oversee reporting delivery (SSRS and/or Power BI), including dataset design, report publishing, and operationalization (subscriptions / SharePoint publishing where needed). 
•    Perform SQL Server design and performance tuning for queries, stored procedures, and reporting workloads; ensure SLAs through optimization and monitoring. 
•    Lead requirements discovery and stakeholder management, translate business needs into technical designs (HLD/LLD), and ensure traceability to testing. 
•    Manage team execution: task planning, estimation, sprint delivery, reviews, and mentoring engineers to improve quality and productivity. 
•    Own production support and governance—release management, incident triage, root-cause analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement
