Job Title: Technical Lead Social Auditing & ESG Supplier Audit Programs

Location: India

Employment Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking a technically skilled and compliance-driven professional to lead our social auditing and ESG supplier audit programs. This role, at Business Unit level and with focus on particular regions, ensures alignment with accreditation standards, drives high-quality execution, and supports global program management and auditor development. The position blends compliance oversight, technical leadership, and strategic support for business growth. The person will cover also billable time as appropriate.


Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Program Management

  • Lead implementation of social auditing schemes (e.g., SMETA, APSCA), ensuring full compliance with accreditation and internal standards.
  • Act as Scheme Owner for assigned programs, managing relationships with external scheme owners and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and approve audit reports, monitor performance metrics (e.g., turnaround time, auditor quality), and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support and training to auditors, including onboarding, calibration, and refresher sessions.
  • Support governance and process optimization across regions within the Business Assurance Division.
  • Ensure upskilling program for auditors to ensure qualification of resources in fast and efficient manner

Efficiency & Collaboration

  • Drive operational efficiency while maintaining compliance.
  • Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure accurate execution of technical tasks.
  • Facilitate training for admin staff on process implementation.

Client Engagement & Development

  • Participate in product development and accreditation for new ESG standards.
  • Represent TV SD in external forums and contribute to thought leadership through webinars, content creation, and marketing initiatives.
  • Support client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.

General Duties

  • Conduct audits as needed (not more than 50% of time)
  • Work across time zones and travel internationally when required.
  • Promote TV SDs values, Code of Ethics, and EDI policies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in technical product management.
  • Proven experience in social auditing (APSCA, SMETA) and audit delivery (2nd/3rd party).
  • Strong background in international program management.
  • Additional qualifications in sustainability or environmental auditing are a plus.
  • Experience in multicultural environment also dealing with European / American context is a plus
