Technical Lead

Job Description

Location: Bangalore and Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and maintain Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate), FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager systems.
• Manage day-to-day BAU security operations including incident response, change management, and policy updates.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using Fortinet and other monitoring tools.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure network security posture is maintained.
• Perform regular system upgrades, backups, and patch management and assist in troubleshooting and resolving network and firewall-related issues promptly.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and network diagrams and participate in on-call rotations and provide support during assigned 24x4 shifts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in network security and firewall management.
• Proven expertise in Fortinet technologies, especially FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager
• Solid understanding of BAU (Business As Usual) operations
• Strong understanding of network protocols, VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, and routing.
• Prior experience in BAU operations within a secure and complex network environment.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
