We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable enterprise-grade AI platforms. This role is critical in guiding engineering teams, shaping technical direction, and ensuring high standards of performance, security, and reliability across Scry AI products.

Role Overview

As a Technical Lead at Scry AI, you will own the end-to-end technical architecture and execution of key product modules. You will mentor developers, review system designs, ensure coding standards, and collaborate closely with product, AI/ML, DevOps, and leadership teams to translate business vision into scalable technical solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on engineering expertise with leadership capability and enjoys building complex systems that operate at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & System Design

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures for enterprise AI applications
• Define backend, frontend, and data architecture patterns aligned with long-term product strategy
• Lead technical decision-making around frameworks, tools, integrations, and cloud infrastructure

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and documentation
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards and design principles
• Break down complex features into actionable technical tasks and drive sprint execution

Backend & Platform Development

• Oversee development of robust backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures
• Ensure scalable database design and efficient data processing workflows
• Drive integration of AI/ML models into production-grade applications

Performance, Security, and Reliability

• Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and data privacy
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability practices for production systems

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
• Align with AI/ML teams to ensure seamless integration of models and data pipelines

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in system design and building scalable web or enterprise applications
• Proficiency in modern backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or equivalent) and cloud environments
• Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL), API architecture, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerization technologies
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex projects on time
