Technical Lead - NMS

MatreComm is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead NMS to design, build, and lead the development of next-generation Network Management Systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in C++ backend systems , modern web technologies (ReactJS/NextJS) , and networking concepts , along with proven technical leadership capabilities.

This role involves end-to-end ownership of NMS architecture, development, performance, and scalability, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for NMS platforms.
• Drive design decisions for scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high engineering standards.
• Mentor and guide team members, supporting technical growth and delivery excellence.

• Design and develop high-performance backend services and modules in C++ .
• Build components for data collection, processing, alarms, events, and telemetry.
• Optimize system performance, memory usage, and concurrency.
• Integrate with databases, message brokers, and network protocols.

• Lead development of intuitive, responsive NMS user interfaces using ReactJS and/or NextJS .
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to deliver rich visualization dashboards.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services.
• Optimize frontend performance, security, and maintainability.

• Apply strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Work with network management protocols such as SNMP, NETCONF, REST, gRPC , or similar.
• Design systems for fault management, performance monitoring, configuration, and inventory.
• Understand telecom / enterprise network environments and operational workflows.

• Work with product management to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and deployment teams for smooth releases.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
• Support production systems and guide root cause analysis for critical issues.

• Strong proficiency in C++ (modern C++ preferred).
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and/or NextJS .
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols .
• Experience building or working on Network Management Systems or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and system-level programming.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer .
• Ability to drive technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.

• Experience in telecom, ISP, or large-scale enterprise networks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
