A SailPoint Senior Developer is a professional responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting identity and access management solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ. This role is crucial for tailoring SailPoint solutions to align with organizational needs, ensuring secure and efficient user access across different applications and systems.
Key responsibilities of a SailPoint Senior Developer may include:
1. Designing and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions based on the organization's needs.
2. Customizing SailPoint workflows, connectors, and rules to integrate with various applications and systems.
3. Configuring and managing identity governance policies and access controls within SailPoint IdentityIQ.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement SailPoint projects.
5. Providing guidance and support to junior developers and administrators on SailPoint best practices and methodologies.
6. Documenting technical specifications, design documents, and user guides for SailPoint implementations.
7. Staying updated on SailPoint product updates, new features, and industry trends to enhance expertise and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications and skills typically required for a SailPoint Senior Developer role include:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Strong experience in developing and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and XML.
4. Knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including RBAC, SSO, and provisioning.
5. Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, and other directory services.
6. Experience with database technologies like SQL and Oracle.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
9. Relevant certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer (CIIE) may be preferred.
- Co-ordination with On-Site Engineers and attending customer calls
- Raising risks| issues and escalation to senior management and customer
- To create all quality documents| collect metrics data and conducting Audits. To perform Value creation and KM activities.
- To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards
- To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents
