Technical Lead – Full Stack (MERN | FinTech APIs | UPI & Payments)

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead Full Stack with strong experience in the MERN stack and exposure to FinTech and payment systems . The role involves leading and guiding junior developers , participating in code reviews , and coordinating with QA and product teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor junior developers through code reviews, design guidance, and best practices
• Knowledge of microservices & backend architecture, API design, and scalability decisions
• Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance payment flows
• Act as the technical point of contact for production issues and releases
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Build and optimize MongoDB schemas and queries
• Create responsive and high-performance UI using React.js / Next.js

Fintech & Paymeny Systems

• Develop and integrate UPI, online payment, and merchant APIs
• Handle transaction lifecycles, callbacks, and webhooks
• Implement secure payment flows with proper error handling and logging
• Work with banking partners and payment gateways for API integrations

Containerization & Deployment

• Containerize applications using Docker
• Support deployments and environment configurations
• Follow basic DevOps and CI/CD best practices

Quality, Testing & Collaboration

• Enforce clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Implement unit and integration tests using React Testing Library, Jest, etc.
• Work closely with QA leads for test planning, bug triaging, and release readiness
• Coordinate with product managers and designers to meet business requirements

FinTech / Payments (Mandatory)

• Experience working on FinTech or payment products
• Exposure to UPI, payment gateways, merchant or banking APIs
• Understanding of payment workflows, callbacks, and transaction handling

(Candidates with experience in FinTech companies, payment platforms, UPI-based systems, or banking API products will be highly preferred.)

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

(Relevant experience is valued over formal education)
