Technical Lead – Database Security Research

Introduction & Objective Lead database security research and policy implementation for Database Activity Monitoring across enterprise environments with strong multi-database exposure. Key Responsibilities Research vulnerabilities, CVEs, patches across RDBMS, NoSQL and Big Data platforms Analyze traffic patterns and commands to identify attack vectors Design and deploy real-time security policies and detection controls Develop automation tools using Go/Python Ensure compliance with DISA, CIS, PCI, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, FISMA standards Provide technical guidance and security documentation Required Skills Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 Linux OS expertise Advanced SQL and RegEx skills Information Security fundamentals REST API understanding Cloud basics (AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred Skills Compliance frameworks implementation Database maintenance & performance tuning Go/Python scripting Shell scripting CI/CD knowledge NoSQL & Big Data exposure
