About Creative Antenna

Creative Antenna has been active since 2013, beginning in telecom VAS and building high-volume digital platorms for major operators. The company is now expanding into customer behaviour and engagement design through a new initiative called EcoLoop being built as a lean startup within Creative Antenna, with a small, focused team working out of a co-working space in Mumbai. This phase requires a genuine startup mentality agility, ownership, and comfort working in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can own the architecture, backend, and overall technical direction of the EcoLoop platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building new products end-to-end, prefers small teams, and is comfortable taking significant ownership.

You will design the core system (mission engine, rewards engine, partner portal, admin dashboard), build the backend yourself initially, and guide the frontend developer and UI/UX designer. You will work closely with the founder and Head of Delivery to ship the first full version of EcoLoop.

Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design

Architect the entire EcoLoop platform (PWA + backend + admin CMS)

Design scalable multi-tenant structure (multiple deployments under one system)

Create the data model for missions, trails, QR logic, rewards, and partners

Ensure GDPR-friendly and privacy-safe design using anonymous user identity Backend Development

Build all backend modules using Node.js / Express / NestJS or Go

Develop core components:

Mission logic

Points engine

Reward and redemption system

Partner portal backend

QR validation flows

Distance calculations

Role-based admin controls

Integrate map/geocoding services as needed

Implement caching, rate-limiting, and anti-abuse logic

Collaboration & Leadership

Guide the frontend PWA developer

Coordinate with UI/UX for screen translations into functionality

Participate in sprint planning, testing, and deployments

Review code and maintain engineering quality

Lay down coding standards and best practices Infrastructure & Delivery

Manage deployments, staging/production environments

Implement CI/CD pipelines

Ensure platform performance, uptime, and stability Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in backend development (Node.js, Express/NestJS or Go)

Strong knowledge of React/Next.js fundamentals (for guiding frontend dev)

Solid experience designing APIs, micro-modules, and clean architecture

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, schema design, and DB optimisation

Knowledge of map/geolocation APIs, QR code flows, and token validation

Experience with authentication, JWT, session handling, and RBAC

Experience building admin dashboards or platform modules

Deep understanding of performance, caching, and security practices

Ability to translate product ideas into technical workflows

Comfort working in a startup-style environment with rapid iteration

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in location-based apps or gamification systems

Experience building reward/coupon/points engines

Experience with PWAs or oine-first apps

Exposure to analytics, logging, and event tracking

Familiarity with privacy-friendly data handling SoE Skills
