Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 3 to 6 years of experience in PowerShell AIX Administration and RedHat Linux Administration. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance and possess strong English language skills. This role requires working from the office with rotational shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and maintenance of AIX and RedHat Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the development and execution of PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AIX and RedHat Linux environments ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system administration and security.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on system administration tasks and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical system issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system performance and security.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks.
  • Have extensive knowledge of AIX Administration to manage and maintain AIX systems effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in RedHat Linux Administration to ensure the smooth operation of Linux environments.
  • Exhibit domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and address industry-specific requirements.
  • Show excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Have a proven track record of working in rotational shifts to provide round-the-clock support.

    Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX
