Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OpsRamp Event Management Engineer to configure manage and optimize HP OpsRamp for centralized event and incident management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ITOM tools strong knowledge of event correlation and a passion for improving operational efficiency through automation and observability.


Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain OpsRamp for event ingestion correlation and incident management.
  • Integrate OpsRamp with various monitoring tools e.g. SolarWinds Nagios Zabbix etc and ITSM platforms e.g. ServiceNow
  • Develop and fine tune event policies suppression rules and escalation workflows.
  • Implement AI based noise reduction and root cause analysis features.
  • Create dashboards and reports for real time visibility into infrastructure health.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless event flow and incident resolution.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations SOPs and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide L2 L3 support for event management issues.
  • 3 years of experience in IT Operations or Infrastructure Monitoring.
  • Hands on experience with OpsRamp configuration and administration.
  • Strong understanding of event correlation alert suppression and incident workflows.
  • Familiarity with SNMP Syslog APIs and cloud monitoring integrations.
  • Experience with scripting Python PowerShell or Shell for automation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes especially Incident and Event Management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
