Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 6 to 10 years of experience in Oracle DataGuard Oracle Database Cloud Service and Oracle DB Admin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance & Accounting domains. This hybrid role requires a dedicated professional who can work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the design implementation and maintenance of Oracle DataGuard solutions to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.Oversee the administration and management of Oracle Database Cloud Service environments to optimize performance and reliability.Provide expert-level support for Oracle DB Admin tasks including installation configuration and troubleshooting.Collaborate with Finance & Accounting teams to understand their data requirements and ensure seamless database integration.Develop and enforce database security policies to protect sensitive financial data.Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to enhance efficiency.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.Conduct regular database backups and recovery tests to ensure data integrity and availability.Implement and manage database replication and synchronization processes.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior database administrators.Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices to continuously improve database management processes.Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss project requirements and progress.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for financial data management.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Oracle DataGuard and its implementation in high availability environments.Have extensive experience with Oracle Database Cloud Service including setup and maintenance.Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle DB Admin tasks such as installation configuration and performance tuning.Exhibit a solid background in Finance & Accounting domains understanding the specific data needs and challenges.Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle technologies and industry best practices.Have a proactive approach to database security and data protection.Be capable of creating detailed documentation for database processes and configurations.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for financial data management.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
Certifications Required
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle Database Administration Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification.
