Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable, secure APIs that support data exchange across digital health platforms.
- Collaborate with data teams to align APIs with data models, pipelines, and governance standards.
- Convert complex data and analytics/ML requirements into clear, well-defined API specifications.
- Ensure APIs meet high performance, security, and interoperability standards while monitoring and resolving production issues.
- Serve as the local technical lead, guiding the team through development, architecture discussions, and solution delivery.
Technical Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in backend engineering, modern data engineering, or API development, with strong knowledge of data structures and system integration.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, especially with frameworks like FastAPI.
- Strong expertise in RESTful API design, authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT), and API versioning.
- Handson experience with structured/semistructured data (JSON, XML, Parquet) and data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Skilled in cloudnative development (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, serverless technologies, and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE preferred).
- Preferred exposure to healthcare/life sciences domains and familiarity with AdTech or digital advertising technologies.
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
