Technical Executive
Reporting to: Technical Lead
Duties & responsibilities
- To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at Client site with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices.
- Manage M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.
- To provide comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services to the client.
- To achieve financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets.
- Establish Engineering & Operational procedures and roll out the same for site staff.
- Establish contacts with local authorities/landlord on the facility related issues and maintain the relationship.
- Responsible for all legal & authorities related compliances pertaining to facility & engineering systems.
- Plan and manage the budgets for Engineering & Operational contracts.
- Carry out Technical Audits for all installations at periodical intervals.
- Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
- Plan & take responsibility for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing installations and Civil works pertaining to the facility.
- Responsible for planning a critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and inventory.
- Responsible for development of all maintenance related schedules and shutdowns in consultation with Clients / OEMs.
- Periodically inspect the logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for a better management of Engineering systems.
- Work towards the ‘ZERO’ down time and set up the practices to ensure the delivery of seamless service to Clients.
- Responsible for ensuring landlord’s compliance on availability of all statutory obligations such as CEIG, Fire, Lift, Explosives, and stability certificate.
- Lead implementation of EHS/HSSE initiatives in the site.
- Drive the EHS/HSSE compliance programme in the managed facility.
- Ensure Client and JLL EHS/HSSE requirements are full implemented and complied with.
- Conduct Risk assessment and put controls.
- Incident management.
- Train Vendors and the site team in implementing EHS/HSSE requirements.
- Guide operations teams and clients on any changed legislative requirements to enable them to plan for continued legal compliance.
- Develop and implement process for tracking regulatory compliances across managed locations.
- Coordinate with Facility Manger, Corporate EHS/HSSE manager, ensure implementation of programs.
- Tracking and closure of annual compliance.
Performance objectives
- To manage day-to-day critical and non-critical operations at client location
- Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts.
- Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the Technical Lead.
Key skills
- BE Electrical Engineering.
- Contract administration experience of 1 to 3 yrs. or more required.
- Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.

In this role, your keen understanding of several angles in the site operations is crucial. You’ll provide full maintenance site services by carrying out building procedures and performance measures to guarantee that the facility is in top shape. Working with our regional team, you’ll keep a close look at energy use, costs and building systems to find sweet spots and make informed decisions. On top of these, you should know exactly how to respond when issues come up. That’s why you’ll find it useful to always have an action plan to protect the site, and the health and safety of all staff members. Your ability to create great connections with vendors is also essential to fulfil your site’s needs.

Tech know-how and creativity
This role demands your tech expertise, so you should be skilled and competent in the field. Specifically, you should have top-notch technical understanding, familiarity with EHS regulations, and experience with performance-based service contracts and vendor management. Your out-of-the-box thinking skills will also be helpful when problems and issues come your way.
