The opportunity

We are seeking Technical Lead who will be involved in providing guidance, direction, knowledge and oversight of product configuration and delivery of services across M365 One Drive for Business.  You will be involved in all aspects of ODB working on product technicalities including analysing features / functions, understanding integration points, innovating, and working with different groups such as Architecture and Engineering, Security and Compliance, Vendor and Stakeholder Management, Marketing and Adoption.  You will also need to liaise with key stakeholder groups to understand business demand, Business Relationship Management, project managers responsible for delivery of M365 related services, as well as peers who manage and maintain M365 products and services supporting other technical leads.  This role will report to the Associate Director of ODB & Backup responsible for supporting M365 ODB products.

Your key responsibilities

Core

• Providing Technical guidance, coaching and directions to technical staff in other M365 product & operations teams
• Responsible for certain technical and non-technical deliverables within assigned project efforts
• Ability to document and communicate to relevant peers, senior management and stakeholders, as well as present and explain in business terms what certain decisions will mean
• Creative and innovative thinking
• Deep technical awareness of the One Drive for Business
• Technical troubleshooting and Problem solving
• Understanding of Microsoft product roadmaps and impact to features / functions to the EY end users
• Security mindset focused on mitigating risk and reducing vulnerabilities
• Ensures the availability and business continuity of the product as per identified SLAs associated with experience metrics. 
• Ability to proactively identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Ability to manage multiple Service Providers and manage interdependencies between external and internal Service Providers as well as Capability to manage vendor related operational tasks
• Ability to understand business drivers and customer strategy as well as developing and maintain strong relationships.
• Develops strong relationships with diverse stakeholders by anticipating needs, collaborating across teams, fostering commitment and asking for feedback. Cultivates internal and external networks and leverages them to connect stakeholders with subject-matter specialists. Finds the right cadence with stakeholders to become a trusted business advisor

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good technical knowledge of scripting and development
• Awareness and familiarity of networking, identity, security, and desktop/mobile related technology
• Familiarity with various country and government compliance laws

Education:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology, Business
• Experience with Microsoft cloud services, commercial & sovereign based M365 tenants
• Approximately 3 years of experience in a comparable technical role

Experience:

• Mind-set of product / service delivery and drive continual innovation and improvements
• Executive presence and strong communications, facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong delivery skills (e.g., ability to scope/size a project, staff a team with the appropriate skill set, provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team, manage the delivery of an engagement workstream)
• Knowledge of and prior experience acting as a technical lead / engineer for ODB.
