Technical Engineer – Servers, Networking & Client Support

About the Role

We are looking for a highly competent Technical Engineer with hands-on experience in servers, switches, networking infrastructure , and strong client-handling capabilities . The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise IT environments while ensuring smooth communication and support for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers , virtualization platforms, and storage systems.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs , etc.
• Ensure network performance, uptime, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Learn & maintain Integrated Command & Control (ICCC) platform & VMS systems.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, backup/recovery, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and network issues within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Serve as the technical point of contact during project execution and support activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and network diagrams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics , or related field.
• 34 years of relevant experience in server and network administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT , and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Dell/HP servers, Cisco/Aruba switches, firewalls .
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Clustering and backup technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with an analytical approach.
• Strong communication skills with ability to handle client professionally.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP
• MCSA / MCSE
• CompTIA Network+ / Security+
• Vendor-specific server or storage certifications
