Technical Business Analyst Role
The role is for a business analyst with significant focus on technology. Successful candidates must therefore have strong analyst skills, experience of gathering and managing requirements and technical knowledge as a significant part of the role is working with technical/IAM specialists. They must also be experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders and gathering requirements and use cases from these individuals.
Essential Skills
- Strong process mapping skills.
- Strong analysis skills.
- Identification of use cases.
- Requirements gathering in a technical environment – Cloud and on-premise infrastructure platforms.
- Understanding of networking technologies including VPNs & Proxies.
- Experience of working closely with IT developers/engineers and operational teams.
- Ability to work with remote teams and communicate effectively using digital collaboration tools
- Root cause analysis skills.
- Microsoft AD / IAM experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Confident at presenting what they are working on.
- Positive team player working as part of a large programme; questioning mind to fact find and challenge where appropriate.
- Accountability for deliverables and proven track record of delivering on schedule.
- Good time management.
- Must be self-sufficient; able to deliver quality output without supervision.
- Proficient with MS Excel, Visio, Confluence, Jira.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience of working in financial services, ideally HSBC experience.
- Good knowledge/understanding of Multi-Factor and Passwordless technologies.
- Good knowledge/understanding of FIDO based authentication.
- EntraID / AzureAD experience.
- Experience of working with global teams.
