Senior Technical Business Analyst Digital Platforms & API Integrations

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams. This role requires strong analytical thinking, deep technical understanding, and hands-on experience working with APIs, microservices, and data-driven platforms .You will drive end-to-end requirement discovery, solution definition, and functional readiness , ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable user stories that engineering teams can confidently deliver.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Discovery & Analysis

• Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs
• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, data flow diagrams, domain models , and impact assessments
• Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Own and maintain the backlog in Azure DevOps / Jira , ensuring traceability across the delivery lifecycle

Technical Enablement & Solution Design

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions across APIs, microservices, and integrations
• Partner with solution architects to validate feasibility, scalability, and alignment with enterprise standards
• Support API design including request/response structures, payload mappings, sequencing, and error handling
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams on wireframes, user journeys, and interaction behaviour

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between business users, product owners, architects, and development teams
• Drive requirement clarification sessions, reviews, and formal sign-offs
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and readiness checkpoints
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment across scope, timeline, and delivery

Testing, UAT & Quality Assurance

• Define UAT scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Support and coordinate UAT execution with business stakeholders
• Validate delivered functionality against approved requirements
• Ensure defects are properly triaged, prioritized, and resolved prior to release

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain updated requirement baselines with version control
• Support audit, compliance, and impact analysis needs
• Provide weekly status updates covering progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 23 years of Business Analysis experience , with 2+ years in technical/digital platforms
• Strong hands-on understanding of:
• REST APIs, Postman, JSON, Swagger / OpenAPI
• Microservices architecture and integration patterns
• Data models, SQL basics, and ETL concepts
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence
• Proficiency in BPMN, UML diagrams, sequence diagrams , and process modeling
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Domain experience in Telecom, CRM, Customer Portals, BI/Analytics, or Workflow platforms
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
• Understanding of design systems and UI behaviour standards
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, SAFe (optional)
