Technical Associate - Boiler

Job Description:

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience (in years): Minimum 5-6 years

Exposure/ Knowledge On:

• Handling of Fire tube Boilers, High pressure and Medium pressure Plant steam Distribution system, Unloading, Storage and Transfer of HSD & LDO (CCOE Tanks) and Knowledge on Softener systems

Technical Skills:

• Hands on experience in working with Burners, PRDS Station, Economizer and Blowers, chimneys etc.
• First Class Boiler Operator certification
• GMP & GDP

Roles & Responsibilities: (Tasks)

• Good knowledge on Operation and maintenance of Boiler, CCOE Tank yard and softener plant
• Hand on experience in trouble shooting day to day issues in Boiler, CCOE Tank yard and softener plant
• Responsible for intimating any incidents during the breakdowns to the supervisor
• Ensure that all the Preventive maintenance of equipment’s in Engineering department were performed within the due period as per the schedule
• Ensure periodic inspection of Boiler and Compliance w.r.t to Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR)
• Ensure to Issue, control, and retrieval of documents (Logbooks) related to Engineering Department
• Ensure Spares, Inventory and Dosing Chemicals to be maintained as per the requirement

Additional/ Preferrable Skills: (Desirable Criteria)

• Experience in Operation & Maintenance of Water System

Experience in Operation & Maintenance of Black Utilities, ETP & STP
