About the Role

HCLTech Lucknow is hiring a Technical Architect with strong expertise in designing and architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java or Python, modern front-end frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). You will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to define architecture standards, ensure best practices, and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design

Design and document scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.

Define technology stacks, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.

Hands-on Development

Build POCs, prototypes, and contribute to critical coding tasks when required.

Provide technical guidance to development teams.

Cloud Solutions

Design cloud-native applications and migration strategies.

Optimize architecture for performance, cost, and reliability.

Collaboration & Communication

Work with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and DevOps.

Communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Governance & Best Practices

Enforce coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks.

Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend: Strong expertise in Java or Python.

Frontend: Experience with React (preferred) or Angular.

Cloud Platforms:

Hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or GCP/Azure.

Knowledge of services like EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.

Architecture:

Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST/gRPC APIs.

Experience in designing for scalability, performance, and security.

DevOps & Tools:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).

Leadership:

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to mentor teams and lead technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with serverless architectures.

Knowledge of data architecture, caching strategies, and distributed systems.

Exposure to AI/ML integration is a plus.
