Technical Architect

We are seeking a Technical Architect Application Development with strong hands-on experience in building and delivering enterprise-grade applications. The role focuses on application development, system design, and cloud-native architecture, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability across platforms.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to design and implement robust solutions while providing technical leadership and ensuring best practices across the application lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define and drive application architecture and design for enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Lead end-to-end application development, from requirements analysis and design to development, deployment, and production support.

Provide hands-on technical leadership across backend, frontend, and integration layers.

Design and develop backend services using Java, Python, and Node.js, following microservices and REST-based architectures.

Guide the development of modern frontend applications using React or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript.

Architect and manage event-driven and messaging-based systems using Kafka or equivalent platforms.

Design and optimize data access layers and data pipelines to support application and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Drive adoption of cloud-native application architectures, including containerization, microservices, and API-first design.

Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies for reliable releases.

Ensure application observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting, and drive performance tuning and reliability improvements.

Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical audits to maintain high engineering standards.

Mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring alignment with delivery timelines and enterprise standards.

Key Skills

Backend : Java (Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs), Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), Node.js (Express)

Frontend : React or Angular, JavaScript / TypeScript

Data & Integration: Data modeling and data access patterns, event-driven architectures and messaging (Kafka or equivalent)

Cloud & DevOps: AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.)

Databases & Messaging: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, messaging systems and streaming platforms

Core Competencies: Enterprise application architecture, distributed systems and scalability, performance optimization and security, Agile / Scrum methodologies, strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical leadership

Certifications: Any public cloud architect certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred; TOGAF, Kubernetes, or Agile certifications are a plus.
