Our Health care material division specialized in pharmaceutical excipients

looks for the best candidate for the opening position.

This is a technical role engaged primarily in the pharmaceutical market. There is a strong expectation to collaborate with our R&D and marketing team in Japan to generate technical data. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing/improving technical data as strong tools to help customers understand unique functions of our excipients with which they expect optimization of drug quality.

Contribute to applicational data development/improvement in collaborations with internal stake holders (e.g., R&D and Marketing team) and/or external stake holders (e.g., CRO and tableting technology provider).

Both domestic/international travelling will be expected as part of the job. Business trip to Japan for supporting analysis at labs could occur for weeks at a time. Annual travel frequency could be 25-30%.

knowledge of formulations, API, and excipients in the pharmaceutical industry and nutraceutical industry.

Education and experience required

Master's degree or higher in pharmacy, chemistry, or related field.

Experience as formulation scientist (especially for oral solid dosage) and application scientist for 9 years or more. Understanding on manufacturing process and equipment is a plus.

Cross cultural communication skills in English (and Japanese is a plus).
