What you’ll do:

The primary role of a Technical Account Manager (TAM) is to deliver proactive services and provide technical advocacy to the TS Support Services customers, specifically leading all remote delivered services in their assigned accounts.

The Technical Account Manager will drive customer success and growth by leading the collaboration across CSC. The role will maintain and cultivate customer relationships to ensure that WE deliver the best customer experience. The TAM will be a Technology liaison and knowledgeable about the customer’s environment and will closely work with the Account team to provide specific technical advice to implement and/or recommend changes to their IT environment.

The Technical Account Manager is a valued technical resource to customers, peers, and the HPE Account team. He/she is an expert in one or more of the defined HPE Technical Services (TS) Support Services Portfolio. The TAMs act as a partner with their Proactive Service customers and possess an in-depth understanding of the customer environments at both the technical and operational level. TAMs may be un-assigned to support Proactive Care and Lifecycle Event Services (LES). In an event of customer satisfaction issue, TAMs will partner with appropriate GSD resources to ensure resolution as needed. TAMs will work closely with customers to create long lasting relationships and create Customers for Life.

Technical Skills § Proficiency in at least one technical domain (Servers, Storage, Networking etc.) Foundational (basic) level knowledge across all key technologies. § Intermediate level knowledge in Converged Infrastructure and Management Tools § TAMs are required to keep their knowledge on track with the emerging technologies.
