Tech Site Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for a Tech Engineer to:

• support and maintain the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) platform across several technical domains
• provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• establish support and engineering excellency across our all our products and processes
• define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
• continue learning and build engineering communities
• build the team’s capability though continuous knowledge sharing and write technical documentation

Your team

You’ll be working in Tech Services as part of the Business Automation Services team, within GCTO. The role itself sits within the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) central L3 Platform Support team based in Pune India. We are a dynamic and diverse team of professionals located in India and Switzerland. We integrate and support RPA Platform components which are used by UBS business users globally to execute process automations.

Your expertise

• bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• must have 6+ years of hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere products for a medium to large enterprise
• strong knowledge in the administration of Automation Anywhere Control Room (CR, API, BLM, etc) and robot code development
• proficient with the administration and support of Windows client and server operating systems. Linux is plus
• experience with Cloud platform like Microsoft Azure, solid network and MSSQL database administration and support knowledge, able to read and write TSQL queries
• good knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. PowerShell, HTML, VBScript,
• experience with system monitoring integration and application performance management (APM) platforms: e.g. Azure Monitor / Application Insights, Cisco AppDynamics, Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM), Splunk
• ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking, ITIL Knowledge and certification are desired, Programming language Java and Python are considered as a plus
