About Dr. Paws:

Dr. Paws is a chain of new-age veterinary clinics, headquartered in Bangalore. We aim to make visits to the vet, a friendly, homely, and comfortable experience. We do this by creating clinics with calming and welcoming interiors and providing extremely hospitable and caring services for pets and their parents. Our clinics have everything a pet parent would need under one roof (vet consults, grooming, pet retail, diagnostics, imaging, surgeries, etc.)

We are venture-capital-backed the (Lead Investor is Sauce. VC, Indias most reputed early-stage consumer brand investor) and have several marquee angels behind us (Founders of Cult. Fit, Zetwerk, Tracxn, Executive Vice-Chairman Tata Sons).

Position Overview:

We are looking for aTech & Product Leadwho can take ownership of the entire technology landscape at Dr. Paws connecting systems, improving workflows, and building the next generation of tools that power our business.

This role is ideal for someone with atechnical foundation (ideally a software engineer)who enjoys thinking strategically about systems and products.

You will work directly with thefounderand play a critical role in shaping the future of our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities

-Own the overall tech and product strategy for Dr. Paws

-Ensure all systems across the organisation integrate seamlessly

-Manage the development and evolution of our internal and customer-facing platforms

-Work closely with engineering teams (in-house and external) to deliver products

-Plan and implement technology architecture and system integrations

-Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency

-Drive adoption of AI-powered capabilities across business processes

-Manage vendor relationships and technology partners

-Ensure products are delivered on time and to high quality standards

-Work on forward-looking technology initiatives that keep Dr. Paws at the cutting edge

What Were Looking For :

-3+ years experience in a technical, product or systems role

-Strong technical fluency (ideally with a background in software engineering)

-Experience owning or managing technology systems in a business with multiple touch points

-Proven ability to work with engineering teams and technology vendors

-Strong systems thinking ability to see how different platforms connect

-Hands-on approach to understanding technical feasibility and constraints

-Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

-Highly detail-oriented and organised

-Proactive, problem-solving mindset

-AI-native thinking instinctively looking for ways to embed AI into workflows

-Experience at a top-tier VC-funded startup or equivalent

And ideally someone who enjoys working in a company built for pets and the people who love them.
