Following successful productmarket validation, the company is now entering a focused scale-up phase , working with enterprise customers across India and global markets.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who enjoys owning outcomes end-to-end. As the Tech Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for execution, architecture, quality, security, and delivery of critical platform capabilities.
This is not a coordination role. You will diagnose problems, challenge assumptions, and design pragmatic solutions , while remaining deeply involved in coding, reviews, and production ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Architecture
- Own end-to-end delivery of core product modules and platform capabilities
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
- Make pragmatic architectural trade-offs balancing speed, quality, and scale
- Stay hands-on through coding, code reviews, and production debugging
Quality, Security & Compliance
- Enforce high engineering standards across quality, testing, performance, and reliability
- Own information security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, DPDP, etc.)
- Design and monitor data security controls and support audits
Team & Delivery Ownership
- Lead and mentor engineers with clear ownership and accountability
- Align team capacity and skills to delivery priorities
- Own delivery execution, releases, and production stability
- Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Business, and Customers
- Participate in client-facing technical discussions and own relationships with client IT teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 812 years of strong, hands-on engineering experience
- Background in product-led SaaS or platform companies (non-services mindset)
- Proven ability to deliver complex systems with high quality
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
- Ability to clearly articulate technical trade-offs to stakeholders
Good to Have
- Experience in HR Tech or enterprise B2B platforms
- Exposure to cloud-native and microservices architectures
- Experience working with distributed teams
