SAP - Application Architect – Senior Manager 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Manager for the Application Architect role, responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of integrated application solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and functional aspects of application architecture, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective application solutions

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into application solutions.
• Lead and manage the application architecture team, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Provide strategic guidance and training to business users on application functionality and its interpretation.
• Stay current with application architecture updates and new features, incorporating them into the strategy as appropriate.
• Drive the adoption of application architecture concepts across the organization by demonstrating its value in gaining actionable insights.
• Work closely with the IT department to ensure proper integration of applications with other systems.
• Lead data governance and security efforts within the application environment.
• Oversee project management activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality of application projects

Experience:  

• 12 Plus years of relevant experience in SAP.
• Successfully completed multiple end-to-end implementations in application architecture.
• Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale application projects.
• Extensive functional and hands-on knowledge of application modules

Competencies / Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of integration of applications with other systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of data modeling.
• Strong leadership and customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
• Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables

Education: 

• Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
• Relevant Certification (preferred).
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international).
