Roles & Responsibilities:

To place the purchase orders in time that enables delivery of materials as per the agreed timelines and planning.
Should ensure timely actions are initiated for converting PR to POs, timely order placement, tracking the delivery timelines, OTIF measurement, pending PRs-POs, proper follow-up, timely escalations etc. and to avoid any misses.
Regular review of the supplies/ rejection replacements / delivery timelines Warehouse, Vendors etc and to align according to Business priorities.
To forecast & plan for regular availability of materials for APSL, track the market changes, demand - supply changes and ensure that right information is provided that can support in Material Procurement Planning and support the Manufacturing & Business requirements.
Ensure timely availability of materials that helps business to maintain its leadership position in market.
Fair understanding around the phase appropriate vendor and material qualification for manufacturing operations.
Review details of rejections received from Quality or in process QA or Production; monitor initiation of CAPA at vendor site, negotiate with vendor for replacement or credit note; coordinate with quality team to resolve any issues on proving rejection
Regular review of slow-nonmoving materials in coordination with Planning/WH and take appropriate actions for liquidation of identified materials.
Comply to the norms laid by the different regulatory agencies and internal SOP / minimize loss on rejection of material.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education: M.Sc. Chemistry/ B.Tech Chem.
Experience: with 4 to 10 years of experience in a pharma industry handling procurement, sourcing & Supply chain activity.
Strong Experience: Strong foundational understanding of CDMO procurement and manufacturing operations.
