Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Team Manager-R2R with 8 to 12 years of experience in Finance-Record to Report (GL). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Record to Report-Accounting Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a day shift with no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Record to Report (R2R) team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee the general ledger (GL) processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data by implementing robust controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve R2R processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for R2R activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely completion.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of R2R processes.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Finance-Record to Report (GL) with 8 to 12 years of experience.
- Have domain skill experience in Record to Report-Accounting Finance & Accounting.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Show proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger processes.
- Display a thorough understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
- Have experience in managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Be proficient in using financial software and tools.
- Have experience in supporting internal and external audits.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
Certifications Required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
