Cognizant is looking for Software Engineer for Group Finance Reporting System

How are we organized?
Group Finance Reporting System (GFRS) chapter is positioned within Statutory & Regulatory Reporting tribe and is primarily focused on delivering change in GFRS application. GFRS is an Oracle based financial data warehouse written in PL/SQL. On top of that, we use technologies such as Drools and Kafka to extract the business logic, and Python for test automation. We work together with Business Analysts to design, develop and deliver suitable IT solutions to ensure that the business requirements of our Risk and Finance stakeholders are met.
As a Dev Engineer you will be part of the Financial Development chapter.

Required skills, knowledge and experience

Must-haves:
- Proficiency with Object Oriented Language(s)
- Expertise in SQL and Data modeling
- Experience in designing and implementing IT solutions for banking / financial services
- Bachelor in Computer Science, or extensive development experience (5+ years)
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with Drools framework
- Experience with Python
- Java proficiency
- Experience with TDD, Continuous Integration / Delivery
- Understanding of financial products and accounting
- Experience in regulatory or financial reporting
