Job Description

The chosen team leader is to lead the NA Derivatives team in the Exchange Traded Content group Bangalore. Primary responsibility handle both projects and the daily maintenance of the group. Individuals with excellent understanding of capital markets and strong communication skills is paramount.

Key Responsibilities and Results

  • Directly lead a team of Analyst & Senior Analysts about 16 in total part of NA Derivatives group.
  • Responsible for resource planning, coaching, and providing performance feedback to the team members.
  • Develop an understanding of Next Gen tools and Business Cases Delivery like Data Quality Framework, Content Audit and Process Improvement.
  • Service Support - Handle strategic client accounts and run regular client interactions.
  • Lead Project roadmap with respect to enhancements to existing content sets
  • Conduct regular discussions to facilitate decision making in handling projects, service initiatives, workload, and other key areas of focus.
  • Work closely with and support the Content management team, Business Analyst Manager, Development Manager, Proposition Manager, Strategy Planning.
  • Establish connection with wider audience coordinate discussions with and provide direction to front line team, customers, suppliers, consultants and technical staff in resolving requirements for enhancements, cleanse activities, studies and project initiatives.
  • Proactively discuss and call out any service issues using the appropriate channels. Own service issues, and lead all changes from a infrastructure perspective, Market events, Migrations etc centrally for the content teams
  • Develop a strong inclination towards various automation and simplification initiatives and deliver on the same.
     

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Degree Bachelors and/or a Masters
  • Over 6 years of overall work experience
  • Ability to Lead, Mentor and Coach staff.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Confirmed experience on driving projects independently.
  • Strong process orientation, ability to think E2E and craft pragmatic, scalable solutions to complex use cases.
  • Track record of developing and leading strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent skills in communication - oral and written
  • Must have a consistent record of leading change, driving innovation, efficiency and simplification within Content Operations.
  • Understanding of Stock Exchanges - especially Equities Market.
  • Clear and demonstrated for customer service and excellence.
  • Ability to get very detailed, while also being able to summarize at an executive level as needed
  • Good understanding of Products such as Eikon and DataScope
