Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Chartered Accountant to lead the finance function with strong experience in financial accounting, regulatory reporting, MIS, audit coordination, and taxation. The ideal candidate should have exposure to NBFCs, Housing Finance Companies, or Banking sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Closing:

• Manage monthly and annual book closure as per accounting standards
• Review financial transactions, provisions, and journal entries
• Support finalization of financial statements

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow Statements
• Draft Notes to Accounts as per Indian GAAP
• Ensure compliance with RBI and statutory guidelines

Regulatory Reporting:

• Prepare and submit RBI returns (monthly/quarterly)
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to timelines

Lender & Stakeholder Reporting:

• Prepare reports for lenders and financial institutions
• Monitor covenant compliance and coordinate data requirements

MIS & Management Reporting:

• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports
• Analyze financial performance and cost efficiency
• Provide insights for decision-making

Business & Cost Analysis:

• Prepare branch-wise P&L and product profitability
• Monitor and control operating expenses
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Audit & Compliance:

• Coordinate with statutory, internal auditors, and RBI inspectors
• Ensure timely audit closure and compliance

Taxation:

• Manage GST, TDS, and statutory filings
• Coordinate with consultants for tax assessments

Candidate Profile:

• Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience
• Experience in NBFC / Housing Finance / Banking preferred
• Big 4 Financial Services Audit experience is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Team handling experience preferred
