Team Leader - Analytics Engineering (Databricks)

Roles & Responsibilities

• The Team Lead Analytics Engineering is responsible for leading a team of analytics engineers and driving endtoend delivery of analytics initiatives.
• This role combines handson technical leadership, project delivery ownership, and people management, ensuring analytics solutions align with business strategy, timelines, and quality expectations.
• The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams while building a strong, scalable analytics capability.
• The lead should build strong crossfunctional relationships and enable the team through mentoring, design reviews, and promotion of data literacy.

Qualification

Must Have Skills:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 12 15 years in Analytical space
• Extensively worked in Azure Datalake environment.
• Hands on and expert in Databricks.
• Good knowledge of Databrick Unity Catalog and administration
• Worked on BI tools like PowerBI/Qlik
• Demonstrated project manager experience with large enterprise-wide projects is required.
• Build trusted partnerships across business and technology teams.
• Provide design guidance and code reviews.
• Promote data literacy, governance
• Requires at least 5 years experience as a Lead.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Other Experience:

• Requires a broad awareness of emerging technology trends.
• Must be able to coach and guide team members.
• Exposure to SAP is desirable.
