Team Lead/Architect – Vehicle Assembly and Capacity & New Facility

You’ll be our: Team Lead/Architect – Vehicle Line Assembly

You’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

You’ll be aligned with: VP – Manufacturing Engineering

You’ll be a member of: Manufacturing Engineering - Assembly

What you’ll do at Ather:

— Deliver complete design of process and manufacturing line for one of the vehicle or battery assembly lines.

— Ensure that time, cost and quality targets are met.

— Work with the design team on DFA feedback and in understanding process requirements and CTQs.

— Work with the production team to understand constraints and requirements.

— Work with the prototyping team during early builds.

— Deliver MBoM, BoP, PFD, work instructions, maintenance guidelines to the production team.

— Work with vendors in communicating requirements, reviewing designs, and commissioning of lines.

— Ensure line stabilization and PPAP.

Here’s what we are looking for:

— An understanding of various process capabilities, ergonomics, testing, line design.

— Being up-to-date with state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing processes.

— Knowledge of machines and their cost and capabilities.

— Experience leading at least one line release.

— Experience working in 2-3 programs in the capacity of a process/manufacturing engineer.

— Knowledge of different suppliers w.r.t various aspects of NPD for given component from a strategy point of view

What you bring to Ather:

— B.E/M.E in Industrial engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

— 10+ years of technical expertise in the manufacturing process
