Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Leader B2B Sales to drive acquisition of exporters and businesses receiving international payments. The role requires strong forex sales experience, an existing exporter/client network, and the ability to generate leads, manage the complete sales cycle, and achieve revenue targets while leading a sales team.
The ideal candidate should have a consultative sales approach and a strong understanding of cross-border payments, forex, and export-related banking processes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Client Acquisition
Develop and execute territory-based sales strategies to acquire exporters, SaaS companies, CAs, IT/ITES firms, freelancers, and global service providers receiving international payments.
Leverage existing exporter and SME networks to generate new business opportunities.
Position Xchange.pe as a superior alternative to banks for forex conversions and inward remittances.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
Generate high-quality leads through market research, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation, client meetings, solution presentation, negotiation, and onboarding.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and support a B2B sales team to drive business growth.
Set sales goals, track team performance, and ensure achievement of team targets.
Partnership Development
Build strong referral networks with Chartered Accountants, consultants, trade advisors, and export ecosystem partners.
Develop partnerships with export communities and industry associations to expand lead generation channels.
Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with exporters and high-value clients.
Provide consultative guidance on reducing FX costs and improving remittance efficiency.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM.
Provide insights on exporter challenges and market trends to support product improvements.
Ideal Candidate
23 years of experience in forex sales, trade finance, cross-border payments, or banking/fintech B2B sales.
Prior experience selling forex or international payment solutions to exporters or SMEs.
Existing network of exporters, SMEs, CAs, or businesses receiving international payments.
Proven track record in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in consultative selling and managing the complete sales cycle.
