Job Description:

Education: Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Experience: 7 To 15 Years Of Experience In Trailer Design, Vehicle Engineering, Or Related Fields.

Technical Expertise

Lead design of trailer body structures and sheet metal (steel and aluminum), load securing systems, hydraulics, and electrical routing.
Design And Develop Trailer Systems (E.G., Flatbeds, Tankers, Lowboys, And Other Custom Modules) From Concept Through To Final Product.
Hands On Experience In Using Appropriate Engineering Software (E.G., Creo, Solidworks, CATIA).
Work With Internal Teams To Ensure That Designs Meet Manufacturing Feasibility, Cost Constraints, And Industry Compliance.
Experience In Prototype Testing And Validation Of Trailer Designs Will Be An Added Advantage.
Design Compliance Knowledge With Respect To Industry Standards And Regulations (E.G., ISO, DOT, And Other Local Standards).
Prepare Detailed Technical Documentation, Including Drawings, Specifications, And Reports.
Able To Select/ Suggest Suitable Materials And Components Used For Different Trailer Application.
Act as the primary technical interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Conduct design reviews, technical presentations, and progress meetings with customers.
Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and executable plans.
Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary offshore design teams.
