Job Description

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Experience: 4 to 8 years in Field Sales & Team Management (Experience in Healthcare or Insurance is an added advantage)

Languages: English, Hindi and Marathi (Mandatory)


Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Lead - Sales to drive business growth and manage a high-performing sales team of 5 to 12 members. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, team leadership, and strategic execution. Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance industry will be an added advantage.


About the company: The company is a fast-growing healthcare start-up focused on transforming healthcare accessibility through high-quality, tech-enabled medical solutions. It has launched its own hospitals and clinics and has ambitious expansion plans to open 25 hospitals over the next 18 months. Backed by strong funding and rapid scale-up momentum, the organization is building an integrated healthcare ecosystem aimed at delivering seamless and affordable care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team of 5 to 12 members to achieve business targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for market expansion.
  • Monitor team performance, provide necessary training, and drive productivity.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish strong client relationships.
  • Ensure the achievement of revenue and growth targets in the assigned city/region.
  • Conduct field visits with the team to understand market dynamics and improve sales efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and operations to drive business success.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer insights.


Key Requirements:

  • 4 - 8 years of experience in field sales and team management.
  • Strong leadership and team-handling capabilities.
  • Experience in the Healthcare or Insurance sector is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the city/region as required.
