Job Description

Job Title: Team Lead Financial Services

Department: Operations / Finance & Accounting / Financial Analytics

Location: Gurgaon

Reports to: Delivery Manager


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to manage and drive service delivery for financial services processes. The role involves leading a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality client deliverables, and continuously improving processes. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, client-handling skills, and proven people management experience.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of financial analysts and associates
  • Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to clients request and KPIs
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and skill development sessions

Client Delivery & Operations

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of financial services processes (e.g., accounting, reporting, analysis, reconciliations, valuations, compliance support)
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client outputs with minimal errors
  • Act as the primary escalation point for delivery or quality issues
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support client calls/reviews
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and controls


Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 59+ years of experience in financial services, KPO, or shared services
  • 13+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and client delivery models


Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
  • Experience working with global clients (US/UK/Europe)
  • Exposure to multiple financial services domains (Banking, Asset Management, Insurance, Software, Healthcare)
