About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Teacher Trainer to design and deliver online and offline teacher training programs for CBSE-affiliated schools in Mumbai , focused on the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) framework as mandated under NEP 2020 .

The trainer will work closely with school leadership and teachers to help them understand, implement, and operationalize HPC in classroom practices and assessmentsmoving from compliance to meaningful adoption.

This is a part-time, as-and-when engagement , ideal for senior educators, academic leaders, or master trainers with hands-on experience in CBSE reforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct teacher training workshops (online & in-person) on:
• Holistic Progress Card (HPC)
• Competency-based assessment
• Formative & summative assessment alignment
• Qualitative feedback and learner profiling
• Translate NEP 2020, CBSE, NCERT & PARAKH guidelines into practical classroom practices
• Train teachers on:
• Designing rubrics and indicators for holistic assessment
• Observation-based and evidence-based assessment
• Recording, reporting, and communicating student progress
• Customize training content based on:
• School level (Primary / Secondary)
• Teacher profiles and subject areas
• Engage teachers through interactive pedagogy , case studies, & real-life classroom examples
• Support schools in change management , addressing teacher concerns and implementation challenges
• Provide post-training guidance or clarifications, if required

Desired Profile

• Postgraduate / B.Ed / M.Ed (or equivalent qualification)
• 8+ years of experience in school education (CBSE preferred)
• Prior experience as:
• Teacher Trainer / Academic Mentor / Master Trainer
• School Academic Head / Senior Educator with training exposure
• Strong understanding of:
• NEP 2020 assessment reforms
• Holistic & competency-based education
• CBSE assessment practices
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Comfortable conducting both online and offline trainings
• Ability to explain policy concepts in a simple, practical, teacher-friendly manner

Engagement & Remuneration

• Part-time | Assignment-based
• Trainings will be scheduled as and when schools require
• Remuneration will be mutually agreed on a per-training basis
