Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site TDL Developer role located in Mumbai, India at RikoAI.

The TDL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized Tally solutions using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and Tally Definition Language (TDL), along with hands-on experience in C# development. The role includes understanding and analyzing customer requirements for Tally customizations and solutions, assessing feasibility using standard Tally features and extensions, and designing, documenting, and developing TDL-based customizations and modules.

Key responsibilities include developing industry-specific solutions and enhancements for Tally customers, implementing integrations between Tally and external systems using APIs, web services, and C# applications, collaborating with frontend/backend teams to ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility, performing testing, debugging, and performance optimization of TDL solutions, and providing implementation guidance, technical support, and documentation. As part of the role, the developer will also handle large-scale or multi-company Tally implementations and participate in project planning and client-facing activities where required.

Qualification

Strong proficiency in Tally Definition Language (TDL).

In-depth knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime architecture and features.

Experience in customization and integration using TDL tools.

Proficiency in C# for building middleware, APIs, or integration services.

Experience working with REST APIs, web services, and data exchange formats (JSON/XML).

Good understanding of accounting concepts.

Strong logical and analytical skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Experience integrating Tally with enterprise applications, databases, or cloud platforms.

Knowledge of SQL / database concepts.

Experience in handling large-scale or multi-company Tally implementations.

Prior experience in project planning and client-facing roles.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical disciplines is preferred.
