Job Title: Tax Training Facilitator
Job Purpose
The Tax Training Facilitator is responsible for delivering and managing new-hire training for on-site tax teams and providing continued support to ensure operational readiness. This role helps team members build confidence in tax processes, systems, and daily workflows, while maintaining consistency in practices across the team. The facilitator will stay current on updates and learning provided by U.S.-based teams and ensure effective transfer of knowledge to support accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Hire Training
- Deliver structured training programs to ensure new hires understand tax processes, tools, and systems
- Facilitate onboarding to support smooth integration into assigned roles
2. Ongoing Support
- Provide floor support by responding to process-related questions and guiding team members through daily tax tasks
- Act as a point of contact for resolving operational issues related to tax workflows
3. Knowledge Transfer and Development
- Stay updated on tax procedures and best practices through training from U.S.-based teams
- Ensure new information is communicated clearly and applied consistently across the team
4. Process Standardization
- Support the implementation of standardized tax processes to drive accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor adherence to established practices and provide corrective coaching as needed
5. Team Collaboration
- Work with supervisors and managers to identify training needs and adjust programs accordingly
- Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members
6. Performance Monitoring
- Track trainee progress and provide feedback to supervisors
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training sessions to address them
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in tax with strong process understanding
- Experience in training, mentoring, or coaching in a professional environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the tax and bookkeeping industry
- Familiarity with tax systems and software
- Certification in adult learning or training facilitation
