Manager Private Client Services (PCS) | Tax

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager to join a Private Client Services (PCS) tax practice. This role is designed for professionals with strong technical expertise in U.S. partnership and corporate taxation, proven client management experience, and the ability to lead teams while delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage partnership and corporate tax compliance and advisory services for PCS clients within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate tax engagements for operating businesses filing:
  • Form 1065, Form 1120S, and Form 1120
  • Review and oversee U.S. tax returns and supporting workpapers in compliance with U.S. tax regulations, including:
  • Schedules K-1, K-2, and K-3
  • State and Local Tax (SALT) compliances
  • International tax filing compliances
  • Additional forms as required by client needs
  • Provide tax planning support and technical review for PCS and operating business clients.
  • Lead day-to-day client relationships on tax matters and support senior leadership in service execution and expansion of client services.
  • Research complex technical tax issues and support special projects.
  • Proactively identify tax risks and issues and propose practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Manage tax engagements across all phases, from planning and projections through finalization.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and global counterparts using technology-enabled tools and processes.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Staff and Seniors.
  • Conduct technical training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives for team members.
  • Support talent development, performance management, and team engagement initiatives.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in U.S. and/or global taxation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PCS clients and operating businesses.
  • CPA, CA, or Enrolled Agent certification.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with clients and/or global teams.
  • Prior experience supporting small to mid-sized PCS clients.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Masters degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
