Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Work youll do

Youll assist with the Pan-European accounting and tax administration, including the review of VAT, Intrastat and other related declarations

Youll assist shared service centres with the setup of their accounting and VAT obligations on a Pan-European basis

Youll assist our clients with VAT and Intrastat audits on a Pan-European basis

Youll provide clients with advice and practical consulting services on Pan-European VAT reporting matters

Youll be working with our in-house compliance tool and have plenty of opportunity to assist in automating your clients processes

Youll be coaching and developing a team of professionals

Youll be a key stakeholder in managing all compliance related aspects of a/your client portfolio, responsible for the delivery of compliance services

Youll implement processes and identify sustainable planning opportunities to help clients mitigate risk

Youll pro-actively identify and develop opportunities to continuously increase internal efficiency.

The Team

To assist our clients in dealing with the intricacies of indirect tax, our Deloitte Global Tax Centre (Europe) based in Brussels (Belgium) proposes the services of a multi-disciplinary team of over 150 specialists (lawyers, economists, accountants, IT-specialist, project managers) drawn from all over Europe (16 nationalities mastering over 20 languages), who are highly experienced in assisting companies with multi-jurisdiction VAT-compliance, dealing with the complexities of local regulations and procedures such as communicating with local tax authorities, setting up new VAT registrations and filling Intrastat and EC Sales returns.

Our team in Hyderabad consists in over 100 professionals dealing not only with pan-European Indirect Tax compliance but also with Statutory Accounting, Corporate Income Tax compliance, and general Project Management (including Engagement Coordination and Business Development).

Qualifications Required:

Full time Bachelors (B. Com.) in Commerce or Masters (MBA) equivalent from reputed University with minimum of 60% and above or equivalent CGPA

Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical level

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, etc.

Ability to multi-task various client responsibilities through prioritization of activities

Capability of handling high work pressure during busy season

Ability to integrate rapidly with existing team & proven record of people management/ soft skills

Solid analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Good personal organizational skills and commitment to customer service

Critical thinking and analytical skills

Aptitude for learning (new) technologies 

Relevant Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience 

Work Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurugram

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
