Job Description

Responsibilities


Support tax compliance process of affiliates and branches in multiple jurisdictions. Liaise with external tax advisors, review draft returns, summarize findings and conclusions
Collate information for and support the preparation of local transfer pricing reports
Support quarterly (10Q) and annual (10K) tax reporting under US GAAP, including preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax packs
Liaise with other internal functions and stakeholders (Controllership, HR, Legal, etc.) concerning tax matters and projects
Support ad-hoc tax projects related to M&A activities, restructuring, intra-group financing, profits repatriation, etc.
Participate in review of client and vendor agreements from a tax perspective
Assist in obtaining tax residence & other tax certificates, filing WHT applications
Handle inquiries from tax authorities
Track and follow up on legislative changes

Minimum Qualifications


Relevant work experience in taxation
Good communication skills (in writing and speaking) of English
Proactive attitude to identify and analyze problems, to make logical, fact-based decisions
Openness to new concepts and ideas, willingness to learn and use new procedures and technologies
Good analytical and numerical skills
Excellent time management
Professional, emotionally mature and ethical, social skills and ability to work well with a broad range of personality styles and types
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work on strict deadlines in a dynamic/fast paced business environment while being a good team player

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in international tax matters is an advantage
Prior experience in tax reporting under US GAAP is an advantage
