Job Description
Amazon is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its Withholding Tax team within the Foreign Reporting Group in our Pune, India office.
The Amazon Tax Department is a fast
- paced, team
- focused, and dynamic environment.
As a member of the Foreign Reporting Group, the Tax Analyst will be responsible for the process of providing required tax documentation to internal and external customers of Amazon.
The Tax Analyst will also support the global local tax teams on various projects and deliverables.
Areas of responsibility include compliance, research and analysis.
A highly organized, self
- starter with excellent communication and time management skills will be successful on this team.
Key job responsibilities
· Prepare and provide tax forms and documentation related to cross
- border withholding
· Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external customer account representatives regarding documentation
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure review and approval of tax documentation as needed
· Prepare, research and maintain local residency form requirements
· Maintain trackers and other internal team databases
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
