Talent Executive – Actors (Casting Database & Business Development | Growth Role)

Starcast is a boutique talent management agency evolving into a next-generation talent management platform for actors, models and creators.

The founder has over two decades of industry experience in acting as well as talent management, with exceptionally strong industry networks among the primary & lead actors of today, as well as key networks with personnel across casting, production and studio/OTT platforms.

Were looking for a Talent Executive with a casting background who will play a key role in actor onboarding, database management, and business development, and who can optionally grow into a full-fledged Talent Manager over time.

This is not a clerical or backend role. This is a frontline role for someone who understands talent, has casting sensibilities, preferably has an existing network with talent, and understands how to present them through professional presentation.

• Onboarding, reviewing and evaluating talent profiles
• Assessing talent quality and readiness for talent management
• Maintaining and improving a quality database of talent
• Pitching talent to casting directors, production houses, brands, and other relevant opportunities
• Supporting senior talent managers with business development
• Working with the tech team on product feedback

• Experience in casting / casting assistance / casting coordination
• Strong eye for high quality talent performances and spotting potential
• Understanding of professional presentation of talent
• Organised, detail-oriented & proactive
• Comfortable with tech tools and documentation
• Open to training in actor talent management (optional)
