Purpose of the Role
The Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner role is responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment while partnering with business leaders to deliver people strategies aligned with organizational objectives. The role acts as a strategic advisor to the business, ensuring effective workforce planning, talent availability, performance enablement, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned business units, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Develop and execute hiring strategies for leadership, mid-level, entry-level, and bulk/blue-collar hiring as applicable.
- Partner with business leaders to understand manpower requirements, skill gaps, and future talent needs.
- Manage recruitment vendors, consultants, and job portals; negotiate commercials and ensure SLA adherence.
- Drive employer branding initiatives, referral programs, campus hiring, and internal mobility.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and offer-to-join ratio.
2. HR Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, providing guidance on people-related matters.
- Translate business goals into actionable HR plans covering workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, promotions, and capability development.
- Coach line managers on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.
- Manage employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies and labor laws.
- Drive change management initiatives and support organizational restructuring or growth initiatives.
3. Talent Management & Development
- Support succession planning, high-potential identification, and career progression frameworks.
- Partner with L&D teams to identify capability gaps and recommend targeted development interventions.
- Facilitate talent reviews and leadership discussions for key roles.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive engagement initiatives aligned with organizational values and business priorities.
- Analyse engagement data and recommend action plans to improve retention and productivity.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
5. HR Operations & Governance
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and statutory compliance.
- Support audits, reporting, and HR MIS for assigned business units.
- Use HR analytics to provide insights to leadership and enable data-driven decisions.

- MBA / Postgraduate in Human Resources or equivalent
- 57 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and HRBP roles
- Experience in multi-location or operations-driven environments preferred
